do these pads utilise the stock pad retaining springs? if not, do you have the springs that work with these pads? Mike

Yes they do, but with early 997/987 models you need to be careful to ensure that you are using the right pads, as some cars left the factory with brakes carried over from 996/986 models.

dear sir can you give me a bit more information on your textar brake pads as in origin of manufacture ,what sort of heat range do they handle ?if i take them to the club track days are they suitable? also brake wear sensor suitable for 2010 boxter s have been told should buy German made parts only is that correct ? regards

Hi . These pads (997 351 939 05) are made in Germany. Textar are the OE manufacturer for these pads, which means that if you buy them from a Porsche dealership, you will get a Porsche box, but the pads will almost certainly be stamped 'Textar' inside the box. These are quality factory-spec brake pads. How they will perform on a track day depends as much on how they are used as on the pads themselves. I can't give any sort of guarantee, but I can tell you that if you go to a club track day, most if not all of the Boxster drivers will be on factory spec pads. The pad sensors which I sell are manufactured by Pex, who are the OE manufacturers, and the pad sensors are also German made. Regards, James
